libpstoedit-dev software package provides PostScript to editable vector graphics library (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpstoedit-dev
libpstoedit-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpstoedit-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpstoedit-dev *
You will get with libpstoedit-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
